Weekend!

On Sat. evening, we had some friends over to play Euchre and we stayed up until 11:00. Which is way late for me now days. I thought for sure I was going to be hurting this morning, but Josh was nice enough to get up with Addison and let me sleep in. I thank him for that!

I am starting to have OCD about organizing my house. Addison has so much stuff, I just can't seem to get my house de-clutered and it is driving me crazy. I spent the majority of the morning organizing her room and cleaning it. Maybe it is because of the oodles of clothes/shoes that she has :)! Oops!

After that, I went to run with my friend Sarah. Sarah was a track star in high school. For everyone that knows me, they would tell you that I was far from that. She is like my personal trainer, for free. That is the best kind. She runs and I try desperately to keep up. We did circuit running and did a total of 3.7 miles in less than an hour. I thought for sure I would be in bad shape tonight but I actually feel great. It is starting to pay off and my clothes fit so much nicer. I don't know what I would do without her. Thanks Sarah!

Baby Einstein

Friday was my day off and Addison and I stayed home to play. She is getting to be so much fun. She played in the exersaucer and then sat in the bumbo to watch Baby Einstein. The only problem was that I didn't know how to use the DVD player (surprise). We had to wait until Josh got home from work to watch it. She actually really enjoyed it. I was surprised.

Silent Night!

Yesterday, Gma and Gpa took Addison to Newton wtih them to spend the night. Today, was a paid holiday for the babysitter. (who knew?) I think I chose the wrong profession.

Needless to say, I had to work today, so Gma, Gpa and Jenna were happy to watch Addison.
They left our house about 1:30 yesterday for Newton. I sat and looked at the dog and wondered what I should do with the free time. I had only been away from her for one night in the last 4 mo. and that night we were super busy, so I didn't even have a chance to think about it. I decided to go and walk at the fieldhouse. After that, I went home. Josh had just gotten back from Northern Illinois, so we had a chance to catch-up on each others weekends. I think he really missed us! I did a little laundry and then found myself wondering what else I was going to do. I caught myself going to her room to check on her, as if she was sleeping.

About 4:30, I went to my friend Lisa's house. Lisa is pregnant and due in March. We had a lot to talk about. I was super excited to see their nursery. Lisa doesn't know if she is having a boy or girl. I can't wait to find out. We visited for probably 2 hrs. and then I found myself yawning, so I headed home to do more laundry and go to bed early.

Josh and I found ourselves laying in bed at 8:00. We were exhausted, so I thought that I would sleep well. I caught myself waking up every couple of hours listening for Addison. It is hard to be without her. I think I rest better knowing she is right around the corner in her room sleeping sound. I didn't know that I would be such an over-protective parent.

Valentines Weekend!

This weekend Josh went up North to lay hardwood with his brother and their friend Adam. So, Addison had visitors. Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Jenna came to visit. We had a great time. Addison was having so much fun, she didn't want to take a nap. She was so tired.

We made a huge home cooked lunch and then went shopping. I refused to step foot in the gymboree store since I had already been there twice this week. I love that store!

Addison and I headed home early so she could get in a little nap in before everyone returned home from shopping. It was nice to sit around and laugh like we use to all of the time. We really had fun.

We owe a big thanks to Mom, Dad and Jenna for visiting this weekend!

I GOT FLOWERS!!!!!!

Today I received flowers at work for Valentine's Day. Josh is going to leave town this weekend with his brother and he wanted to make sure they were delivered to me at work since I don't work on Fridays. They are very pretty. It's nice to get flowers when you aren't expecting them. Especially since I told him not to get my anything.

Gymboree was having a huge sale today. I only have a 30 min. lunch hour, so I ran to the mall to see what I could find. I got another bag full of clothes for Addison. I am so excited.

This weekend my sister and my parents are coming to visit. Aunt Jenna hasn't seen Addison for a long time. We are excited that she is coming to visit for the weekend. We can't wait!

Happy B-day Natalie!!

On Saturday, we celebrated my nieces 2nd b-day! I can't believe that she is already 2. She is growing up so fast. I loved her cute t-shirt.

About 4 weeks ago Addison starting going to her new daycare. Natalie goes there too! Natalie is excited to go help take care of Addison every Mon. and Wed. Thanks Natalie for being a great cousin!

First Post!

I am new to the blogging world. I decided to create a blog to keep our family and closest friends updated on our day to day life. Since Addison was born, I have decided to keep working 4-10 hr days. I get up at 5 every morning to start the day. It is very exhausting, but great, because Addison and I get to spend all day Friday together by ourselves. Today we are going shopping! Again! But this time for Mom. We have been shopping a lot lately. Addison's favorite stores are Baby Gap, Children's Place and Gymboree. Daddy loves all of her cute outfits, I am waiting for him to say "No more shopping." But that hasn't happened yet!!
